Stage 1 · Eligibility

Who Can Claim

Review the eligibility criteria before starting the claim flow.

The claim flow is open to individuals who have legitimate authority to act for the business. Scam.SG verifies both identity and authority before approving any claim.

S/NEligible Claimant
1Registered business owner (sole proprietor or partner)
2Director or authorised officer of the company
3Majority shareholder with authority to act for the entity
4Authorised representative with documented approval from the above
If authority is unclear, Scam.SG may pause or decline the claim until stronger proof is provided. Only one active claim is permitted per registered UEN entity.

Stage 2 · Step 1

Create Your Account

You need a Scam.SG business account to begin the claim process.

  1. 1Go to the Scam.SG business sign-up page.
  2. 2Enter your business email address — this will be the account used to manage your profile.
  3. 3Verify your email using the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
  4. 4Once verified, navigate to the claim flow from your dashboard.

Stage 2 · Step 2

MyInfo with Singpass

Using MyInfo with Singpass is the recommended identity verification path.

Linking MyInfo with Singpass lets Scam.SG retrieve verified personal identity details and cross-check whether you appear as the registered owner or shareholder. This reduces the amount of manual documentation required.

Retrieve MyInfo with Singpass

What MyInfo retrieves:

  • Full legal name as registered with ICA
  • NRIC / FIN for identity confirmation
  • Business ownership details linked to your Singpass profile
MyInfo retrieval does not guarantee claim approval. Scam.SG may still request additional business documents if the retrieved details are incomplete, inconsistent, or require manual confirmation.

Stage 2 · Step 3

List of Documents Required

Prepare these documents before starting your claim to avoid delays during review.

You must prepare the list of documents required for submission. They will be uploaded during the claim application and reviewed by the Scam.SG team.

Stage 2 · Step 4
