The sprawling 102-seat branch is its sixth in Singapore. Shake Shack first opened at Jewel Changi Airport in 2019, and rapidly expanded to locations including Orchard Road and Suntec City. The Great World City outlet is located near a mall entrance, and boasts many Insta-worthy nooks. If you’re dining in at the restaurant, you can also scan a QR code to access Shake Shack’s AR Instagram filter, which lets you record Insta-stories against cartoon backdrops of the Shack’s burgers and iconic Singaporean landmarks.
Burger chain Shake Shack has opened its second restaurant in Singapore on Neil Road, after the first one at Jewel Changi Airport. The new outlet introduces a new burger to Shake Shack’s Singapore menu, the Chick’n Shack, as well as two new concretes that are exclusively served at the Neil Road outlet. The Chick’n Shack sandwich contains an antibiotic-free chicken breast that is slow-cooked in a buttermilk marinade before being crisp-fried. The new burger joins staples on Shake Shack’s menu like the Shack Burger and Shack Stack. The fried chicken in the Chick'n Shack is juicy and tender and makes for a satisfying burger. Shake Shack is also known for its concretes – desserts made from frozen custard and toppings. Frozen custard is like ice cream, except that it's thicker and creamier as it's made with egg yolk. Two new concretes that are exclusive to the Neil Road outlet are Eye of the Tiger and Open Sesame.
Famous New York burger chain Shake Shack made its highly anticipated Singapore debut at Jewel Changi Airport yesterday by opening to a snaking queue. When The Straits Times visited the outlet at 10am, half an hour before it officially opened, an orderly line of more than 90 people had already formed. New York native Ted Toth, 52, joined the queue with his wife Nova, 53, at 10am.
