About Scam.SG

Scam.SG is Singapore's homegrown business trust and anti-scam platform, with authenticity profiles on over 650,000 Singapore-registered businesses. We verify businesses, educate the public on how scams operate, and detect and disrupt scam activity, helping consumers and business associates reduce the risk of falling into a scam. Our analysis uses proprietary algorithms to assess and score Singapore business entities based on publicly available data signals. A lower score does not mean a business is a scam. Common questions

Does being listed on Scam.SG mean a business was reported as a scam?+

No. Every ACRA-registered business in Singapore is listed by default. Reports appear only when someone submits one.

How is Scam.SG different from ACRA Bizfile?+

Bizfile is the official register. Scam.SG starts from ACRA records and adds reviews and scam reports from the public, a TrustScore for every business and a Watchlist of entities flagged by regulators. TrustGraph, our AI engine, works in the background to connect scam reports to the businesses involved.

Where do I find a company's UEN?+

It is usually printed on the invoice, receipt, contract or website.

What do Claimed and Unclaimed mean?+

Claimed means someone authorised by the business manages its listing. Unclaimed means the business has not done it yet.

What is TrustScore?+

A score from Foundational to Institutional based on public information. A low score does not mean a business is a scam.
