Online applications are assessed before payment and are payable within fourteen (14) days of a successful outcome. Pre-assessed applications are payable on confirmation and refunded in full if the certificate is not issued.
Payment has no effect on assessment outcome, TrustScore or verification status. All paid articles carry a visible Sponsored label. *Homepage Featured Placement runs for three months from verification, after which the listing continues on the Featured Businesses page. The Data Bureau (Singapore) Certificate is issued under its own assessment standard.
Verification and certification reflect the information available at the time of assessment. The business is responsible for notifying Scam.SG of any material change after assessment, and Scam.SG accepts no liability for changes that occur after that date. Scam.SG may suspend or revoke verification and certification where information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete or no longer current.

Why is my business on Scam.SG?
Scam.SG lists every Singapore-registered business from public ACRA records so the public can check a business before dealing with it. A listing does not mean a business is a scam.
Is claiming my business profile free?
Yes. Claiming is free and stays free. It gives you control of the profile that already exists for your business. A verification officer will call to confirm you own the business.
What is the difference between Claimed and Verified?
Claimed means you control your profile. Verified means your business has passed the TrustEngine Verified Assessment and an officer review, and receives the Certificate of Verified Business, the Verified badge and a verified record in TrustGraph.
Who assesses my business?
TrustEngine, the AI engine developed by TrustScore.sg that powers Scam.SG, with a review by a Scam.SG verification officer. The Data Bureau (Singapore) Certificate in Pinnacle is issued under its own assessment standard.
