Loopedin Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based eco-technology company transforming how food and beverage businesses manage packaging waste. Founded in 2021, Loopedin replaces single-use plastics with a fully circular, technology-enabled reusable container system built on a simple principle: Reuse, Return, Repeat.
By integrating high-quality hardware with advanced digital tracking, Loopedin helps businesses move away from the "take-make-waste" model toward measurable, scalable sustainability.
Competing against more than 20 companies, Loopedin won the GS1 Singapore Hackathon 2024 for its innovative adoption of 2D QR codes over traditional barcodes. Recognised by an esteemed judging panel, the win validated Loopedin's approach to enhancing supply chain traceability and data richness — a critical step in Singapore's digital packaging evolution.
Loopedin's automated Smart Return Stations use RFID technology and integrate seamlessly with its mobile app, giving customers a hassle-free container return experience. Manufactured from boards made of agricultural waste, the stations are fully disassemblable and repurposable — sustainability built into the infrastructure itself.
Every container is made from durable, food-grade polypropylene and tracked through its entire lifecycle via RFID. Each container can be reused up to 1,000 times before decommissioning — dramatically reducing waste compared to single-use alternatives.
Loopedin handles the entire supply chain: collection, professional sanitisation (washing and drying), and restocking. Retailers can adopt sustainable packaging without changing their existing operations.
Clients access a live business dashboard showing waste avoidance metrics and Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions — data that directly supports corporate ESG reporting obligations under Singapore's evolving regulatory framework.
As Singapore advances its Zero Waste Masterplan, Loopedin provides the scientific backing businesses need. Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) demonstrate that Loopedin's reusable containers achieve a lower environmental footprint than single-use packaging after just a few rotations.
Loopedin is also active in education, running sustainability engagement programmes with institutions such as North London Collegiate School — shaping the habits of the next generation alongside its commercial work.
