Scam.SG Appointed as Agency of Data Bureau (Singapore), Expanding Certificate of Business Authenticity Access for Singapore Businesses

Singapore, April 2026 — Scam.SG, operated by OnScam (SG) Pte. Ltd., has been appointed as an authorised agency of Data Bureau (Singapore), Singapore's first independent Certification Authority.

The appointment enables Scam.SG to facilitate the issuance of Certificates of Business Authenticity to eligible Singapore-registered businesses through the Scam.SG platform.

The Certificate of Business Authenticity is issued by Data Bureau (Singapore) and provides businesses with an independently certified credential verifying their legitimate registration and business identity. The certificate is available to all eligible Singapore-registered businesses through scam.sg/business — it is not restricted to any single verification tier.

"This appointment formalises Scam.SG's role in Singapore's business trust ecosystem," said a spokesperson for OnScam (SG) Pte. Ltd. "It means Singapore businesses can now access institutional-grade certification through a platform they already use to check their own TrustScore."
